Dealership & Forecourt Battery Support
Forecourt stock loses charge simply by existing. Alarms, immobilisers, telematics and tracking devices draw current continuously, and a vehicle that has been moved twice in six weeks has never had a proper recharge. The result is a flat car at exactly the wrong moment — during a test drive, a handover or a photo shoot.
It is also a presentation problem as much as a mechanical one. A customer watching a car being jumped before their test drive has already formed an opinion. Keeping stock tested and charged quietly in the background is far better for the sale than reacting in front of a buyer.

- Efficient approach
- Scheduled batch testing across stock

What this means in practice
- Premium and stop-start vehicles are the worst offenders on a standing forecourt because of module wake activity.
- Batch testing gives you a stock list by battery condition rather than a surprise on handover day.
- AGM and EFB stock vehicles must be replaced like for like, with registration where the vehicle requires it.
- We can attend outside opening hours so work is not happening in front of customers.
- Old batteries are removed for recycling, which keeps your waste handling straightforward.
Questions we get asked
Can you test a whole stock line?
Yes. Batch testing is the most economical approach for a forecourt and gives you a clear picture of which vehicles need attention first.
Can you attend before opening?
Yes — early or late attendance keeps the forecourt looking as it should during trading hours.
Do you register batteries on vehicles that need it?
Yes, where the vehicle requires OBD registration we carry it out as part of the fitting.
Stock going flat on the forecourt?
Ask about scheduled batch testing so failures never happen in front of a customer.
